What is the best PROFESSIONAL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER to use on DRY color treated hair????????

price DOES NOT matter.

what is the BEST???What is the best PROFESSIONAL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER to use on DRY color treated hair????????
As a chemist I look at ingredients... you too, should learn to beging looking at ingredient list on any product you put on your hair /body.

They print for ';COLOUR TREATED HAIR';......

on the exact same bottle of shampoo that is and is NOT for color treated hair.........because we have no laws or governing system to protect the consumer (you).

You must protect yourself.

Find a shampoo that is SULFATE free to save your color.....

That is your 1st and most important goal.

Its called: SLS ...........

or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

or Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate ( ALS) } both very poor ingredients for hair health + hair color

those ingredients are used in garage floor cleaners %26amp; should NOT be applied to scalp.... you can find out all you need to know about them if you want the research on my HAIR BLOG .....

There is also a list of about 20 Sulfate-free shampoos - i have review and are all OK.

I have 3 favorite's for colour treated hair, based purely on quality of ingredients and results on redheads ( red fades the easiest) and they are:

+John Masters Organics ( all)

+ Kenra - Platinum Color Care - Sulfate-free

+ Pureology - purple bottle

Am not big believer in hair (daily)conditioner.... unless your hair is totally trashed....why?

Once a week deep-overnight-conditioner

daily use a spray detangler, if that is why it was used...(KENRA has a good one)....( the less weight the better for ANY type of hair)

Remember Sulfate-FREE SHAMPOOWhat is the best PROFESSIONAL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER to use on DRY color treated hair????????
Aveda Sap Moss is good for dry hair and Color Conserve for color treated hair, I would rotate them everyother time. If your hair is over processed no shampoo and conditoner is going to help, just keep that in mind.
Alterna is wonderful, kinda hard to find but well worth the search!!
Kerastase or Phytologie. Both are French, they offer a complete line for hair care plus they target specific issues dealing with color damage. Available at better salons. In the Kerastase I would recommend the Bain de Force and in the Phytologie I would go with Phytorum. They both offer outstanding masks for moisture plus seperate protein treatments that will greatly strenghten your hair. Best of luck.
