Hair professionals only please....Shampoo question?

HI... I'm a guy, and am thinning in front a bit, when shampoo has too much body, it actually makes me look more bald (not less as onemight think) ... what I want is advice on the best NON salon shampoo that is good, or ... what you would suggest if you HAD to only use store bought shampoos (i'm broke) ...I do realize salon shampoos are best (even though hair is dead right? (i've read some articles that say saln shampoos are over rated, but others that said thats wrong .. ok thanksHair professionals only please....Shampoo question?
hey-you asked for professionals to answer this question and then you try and make us go against everything we have learned and stand for? shame on the hairstylists that even know about grocery store products. lol here's the deal-these shampoo's are terrible, and have such waxy clogging harsh sulfates in them. Paul Mitchell has a shampoo called tea tree shampoo, and it may be a few dollars more than some crap...I think it's like $7 or $8 for a small bottle-I know some store brands are that high. But I had a class once that talked strictly about male hair care and how the overworking hormones clog hair follicles-etc. the tea tree shampoo has bactericidal and fungicidal agents in it and it will help to unclog any backed up follicles. Nothing is a miracle and will make all your hair grow back-it will prevent further damage though...oh and it's minty fresh and tingly too : )

***DO NOT buy this product if you see it in the grocery store-the company is trying so hard to stop these people from selling their products. they are stolen off a truck, damaged, and or tampered with (not to mention usually super old, and not even in the new packaging) there is a reason the package says ';garuanteed only when sold by a professional'; even your local supercuts or JCPenney salon will carry this

--THIS IS NOT A HAIRLOSS SHAMPOO DON'T WORRY : )

my fiance with his full head of thick hair uses it, and I use it once a week to get the hair product build up out of my hair-ooh, even my gramma uses it I forget about that heheHair professionals only please....Shampoo question?
i have no idea on store bought hair loss treatments, but when you can afford it, you should try nioxin. remember to try something for at least 6 mnths to see results.
Professional shampoos are better. In school we analyzed the different ingredients of drug store and professional products. The cheaper ones are much more watered down, and some of the ingredients are down right scary. You can actually use less of the prof. product since they are more concentrated. That being said, if you are truly thinning, you might have better luck with Rogaine. Walmart even makes a generic formula, which is about 1/3 the cost of regular Rogaine.
