no, unfortunately herbal essences dangerously straight doesn't work :( i have really curly hair and tried using that shampoo and it doesn't make a difference.
nothing works without u having to do sumthing else
no matter what you'll have to use the straightening iron or blowdry afterwards, but shampoo's and stuff will protect your hair from damage (not completely, but a LITTLE bit)
im not sure about shapoo but ino this really great tip wen you condion leave the condiioner on for like a minut and brush your hair wile its on the rinse it of it will turn out really soft then there this kind of spray caulled leave -in-codiner wen you get of the shower you put it on and brush it make it less tageked staight and soft
